Easy Cheddar Cheese Rolls
Ingredients

1 can (450 g) refrigerated cookie dough, divided into 8 pieces

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons melted butter

1 teaspoon garlic powder or dried herbs (optional)

Additional melted butter for brushing (optional)

Sea salt or seasoning blend (optional)
Instructions

Prepare the Baking Sheet
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly grease it. -
Flatten the Dough
Place each cookie dough portion onto a lightly floured surface. Press each piece into a small disc about ½ cm thick. -
Add the Filling
Spoon 1–2 tablespoons of cheddar cheese into the center of each disc. Sprinkle garlic powder or dried herbs if using. -
Form the Rolls
Fold the edges of the dough over the cheese, pinching tightly to seal. Roll gently between your palms to create smooth balls. Place each roll seam-side down on the tray. -
Brush with Butter
Lightly brush the tops with melted butter for a richer finish. -
Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly puffed. -
Finish & Serve
Brush with additional butter if desired and sprinkle with salt or seasoning. Serve warm.
Chocolate Chip Orange Cake

1 whole orange, washed and sliced (seeds removed)

120 ml (½ cup) milk

120 ml (½ cup) vegetable oil

380 g all-purpose flour

180 g (1 cup) sugar

16 g baking powder

Pinch of salt

1 cup chocolate chips

Powdered sugar for finishing (optional)
Instructions

Blend the Orange Base
Add the sliced orange, eggs, oil, and milk to a blender. Blend until completely smooth with no peel fragments remaining. -
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. -
Create the Batter
Pour the orange mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. -
Prepare the Pan
Line a loaf or round cake pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly. -
Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. -
Cool & Serve
Let the cake cool before removing it from the pan. Dust with powdered sugar, slice, and enjoy.
Pepperoni Pizza Casserole

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 onion, diced

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 pound ground Italian sausage

1 cup pizza sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella

1 cup sliced pepperoni

¼ cup grated Parmesan

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Cook the Pasta
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the penne in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside. -
Sauté Aromatics
Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add onion and garlic and cook until tender. -
Cook the Sausage
Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned. Drain excess fat and season lightly with salt, pepper, and oregano. -
Layer the Casserole
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on the bottom.
Add half the pasta, half the sausage, half the mozzarella, and half the pepperoni.
Repeat with remaining ingredients. -
Bake
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until bubbly and golden. -
Finish & Serve
Sprinkle with Parmesan and allow to rest for a few minutes before slicing.
4. Caramel Pretzel Cracker

2 cups crushed pretzels

1 cup unsalted butter

1 cup packed brown sugar

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

1½ cups chocolate chips

Sea salt (optional)
Instructions

Prepare the Pan
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving extra for easy lifting. -
Create the Pretzel Base
Spread the crushed pretzels evenly across the bottom of the pan. -
Make the Caramel
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar and cook until smooth and bubbling (2–3 minutes). Stir in vanilla. -
Assemble the First Layer
Pour the hot caramel over the pretzels, spreading evenly. -
Bake
Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the caramel is bubbling. -
Add the Chocolate
Remove from oven, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, let soften for a few minutes, then spread into a smooth layer. -
Cool & Slice
Add sea salt if desired. Cool completely, then lift from the pan and cut into bars.
